Propeller Selection and Design

The correct selection of the gearbox and propeller propulsion system ensures maximum efficiency of a vessel and increases the durability of the system components such as engine, gearbox, bearings, etc.
This selection requires specialized calculations to be performed professionally.
TECNAVIN S.A. by resistance calculations, vessel type, duty cycle, engine , can reliably determine the best working conditions for each vessel, ensuring the best performance by selecting the propeller  characteristics required for that ship or performing entirely propeller design to be built to meet the requirements of Classification Societies.

•Tecnavin S.A. can do inclining test and stability analysis for all types of vessels, provided IMO guidelines to ensure a successful test.
•The stability study is based on the inclining test to establish the correct center of gravity of the ship and to make the stability study to check whether the requirements set by regulatory entities for each type of vessel are met.
